wbiff! mailbox flag for Windows ======================================================================== Copyright © 1999-2003 by F. Sadaghiani P. Notebaert README.TXT for wbiff! 2.04 - Saturday August 3, 2003 What is it ========== wbiff! is a very small 32-bit internet application that automatically checks your e-mail accounts and notifies you if any new e-mail has been received. Its small size, customizability and screen presence make it the perfect application for those who don't like to keep bulky e-mail readers constantly running. wbiff! is based on the UNIX xbiff program - but sports many more features. Because of wbiff!'s customizability, for example, you can change the look of the program to suite your own needs. What's New ========== wbiff! is now free software as described by the terms of the General Public License (see LICENSE.TXT). Thanks to everyone who registered the software and made its development possible. Please see HISTORY.TXT for the list of bug fixes. F. Sadaghiani has discontinued the programming in this nice piece of code. Fortunately he released the program source and is it allowed to freely adapt the code. All changes from version 2.02 to 2.04 are done by P. Notebaert How to install ============== Unzip the zip file to any folder, preferably a new folder to keep things clean. Start wbiff.exe from this folder. Configure the program with your preferences via the menu option settings. That's all. License Agreement ================= wbiff! is free software. Please see LICENSE.TXT for more information. Contact information =================== Web page: http://guesswork.org/software/wbiff/ E-mail: wbiff@guesswork.org peno@telenet.be
