pe (Peters Editor) is a user-friendly editor written by Peter Notebaert.
It originated on UNIX, so it had a character based interface for quite some
time. Now it also has a graphical windows interface. This is a continuing
evolving project. It is certainly not the best editor around and has not
all that functionality that is available in all those fancy editors, but
it contains some things that I miss in most other editors and if I need
some functionality, I add just it ...
